Registering
When you first order a product from us, a profile is created from the information that you volunteer. This includes obvious details such as your home/billing address and your name. A more detailed list of the information that we store is listed below together with the reason that we ask for it.

Your name, and surname - Please complete these fields with the details as requested.

Address - We cannot deliver items without an address! Please complete your home address here.

Your telephone and mobile telephone numbers - We require these so we can quickly contact you in the event of a query with any orders you make - or even to notify you of being a winner in our competitions! This number will not be passed on to any third party and we will only contact you if we really need to. These are optional - you do not have to leave them if you do not wish to do so.

E-mail address - This is important as it is used to log you in to the website. Please complete this field carefully checking it is correct. We can also keep you updated with special offers, competitions and news about our website with this address.

Password - You will also be prompted to create a password, this should be between six and 12 characters and something you can easily remember, but that is not too obvious! It is recommended you make your password a mixture of letters and numbers for security purposes. Your password is case sensitive - this means the system will accept "Racing", but not "RACING" or "RACing" as the same entry.

The Schuberth Shop at Schuberth.com reserve the right to withhold any order from despatch in order to process further security checks. This can delay an order for up to 36 hours.

Payment by Credit Card

What is the Card Security Number? Also known as a CV2 number, this is a special 3 digit number that appears on the far right side of the signature strip on your card. This number is unique to each card, and gives you extra protection against fraud.

Do you check for fraudulent cards? - When we receive your Credit Card details, an on-line check of your Credit Card is conducted with their Acquiring bankers. This process ensures the number you entered actually corresponds to a real credit card number and is not a bogus card. The payment system also checks various "Hot Card lists" to ensure that no fraudulent use is being made of any Credit Card. This on-line verification of your details is carried out over a secure line to the bank. Credit Card data is, at no time, sent over the Internet using the validation process.

Is shopping with the Schuberth Shop at Schuberth.com safe? - Communication between you, us and our payment provider, is encrypted using the SSL mechanism built into your browser. This ensures that even if someone were able to monitor the traffic between you and the 3D Secure server, they would not be able to read it. Encryption is used on all pages within the buying process, making shopping on the Schuberth Shop at Schuberth.com as safe as possible.

How do we protect the Buyers Data? - The payment provider software sits behind a corporate firewall. Access to this machine is strictly controlled, preventing unauthorized access to your personal data. Once you have passed your Credit Card details to the Schuberth Shop at Schuberth.com, they are stored on the ConCardis Bank server in an encrypted format.

Is the transaction Real-Time? - All Credit Card transactions are completed in real-time. After you have confirmed your purchase, we make an immediate connection to ConCardis Bank to verify the card and amount, so that authorization is given before we complete the order. However, no actual payment is taken until your goods are in the Picking Status of the delivery process. All shirts with customisation will be fully charged once you have confirmed your purchase

Payment via PayPal

Please note: paying with paypal requires that your shipping adress is located in the same country then your paypal-account is registered.

What is PayPal? - PayPal is the safer, easier way to pay online. Pay with your credit card without exposing your credit card number to the merchant. Plus, speed through checkout whenever you shop online.

I've never used PayPal. How do I set up a PayPal account? - In order to create a PayPal account, you will need to visit the PayPal website (http://www.paypal.com)

Will there be tax on PayPal transactions? - Yes, all applicable taxes apply to PayPal transactions.

I have questions about my PayPal account balance, or adding or transferring funds there. Any questions about adding funds, transferring funds, or checking available funds on your PayPal account need to be directed to PayPal support. Schuberth support staff cannot assist with PayPal-account inquiries of any kind.

How safe are payments using PayPal? - PayPal protects your privacy by using the most comprehensive fraud prevention systems available to restrict who sees your personal information, as well as protect your banking information from unauthorized use by others. All systems are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When using PayPal, your financial information is always safe.


Sales Tax



Sales Tax for foreign countries / VAT
For any customer purchasing from inside the European Union, all purchases include 19% VAT.

For any customers purchasing outside the European Union, all purchasers are exempt of german VAT and Schuberth does not charge VAT. Products are shown inclusive of VAT, but this will be recalculated when you purchase your goods.

Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

Due to the complex production process of our original replicas, including the hand-painted shell please allow us general delivery times of 4-6 weeks. We do ship all orders with UPS as carrier.

Return and cancellations



Returning items
The Schuberth Shop at Schuberth.com returns policy:
You may return any item within 14 days in its original condition for a refund of the price you paid for the item.
To return an item please request a return slip at shop@schuberth.com.

If you require an exchange our return centre will be happy to process this for you. Please include written details on the returns slip with your return code.

Defective Items:
If the item is defective, all german customers please contact Customer Services at shop@schuberth.com.

All return and re-shipping charges are the Customer's liability.

We will refund shipping costs if there is a fault with the product. However, we cannot accept responsibility for return or re-shipping costs incurred when returning non-faulty items.
All items should be unworn and unused.
Please note. For your protection Schuberth Head Protection Technology GmbH recommend that you use a recorded delivery service as we cannot be held responsible for goods not received.

Cancellations:

Before order fulfillment: Due to our commitment to process orders quickly, there is only a short period of time in which you may cancel your order. You may choose to cancel your entire order as long as the order has not yet been sent to Schuberth’ warehouse for fulfillment. If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us at shop@Schuberth.com. If your order is cancelled for any reason, prior to it arriving at Schuberth' warehouse, you will not be charged for the order, customs tariffs, taxes and shipping fees.

Can I change my order? - Unfortunately, we are unable to make any changes to an existing order. If your order has not yet been sent to a Schuberth' warehouse for fulfillment you can cancel the entire order. To cancel your order please contact us at shop@Schuberth.com.

Damaged or defective items
Items shipped from our shop are inspected by our shipping department and are properly packed for safe delivery. Some items are shipped direct to our customer from the distribution centers. Please make note of any damage to the shipping carton should we need to make a claim with our carrier. Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. Call our return / exchange department to report any damages or defects upon inspection. A replacement item will be sent along with a pre-paid return shipping label.

How Secure are You? - As soon as you enter the order process, every bit of information that is transferred between you and us is encrypted using powerful encryption algorhythms. So even if someone could intercept the data over the internet, there is not a thing they could do with it. Your details are safer with Internet shopping that with traditional mail or telephone shopping!

How can I tell if the web site is a secure one? - It is easy to determine if your connection is secure; on your browser you will notice a picture of a small padlock - this normally appears right at the bottom of the screen. Sometimes this padlock will not appear, even though you are secure - to double check this, you can right click on the page and select 'properties' or 'view frame info' from the list which will tell you whether you are secure or not. Also look out for the sign of a secure web page, which can be identified by the URL (the web site address). A standard page will begin with 'http://'. A secure web page will begin with the URL 'https://' denoting that the merchant is using a secure server for the transaction of data.

How does Encryption work? - All credit card details are encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Software. When you establish a secure connection, the downloaded web site sends a digital certificate to your web browser. When the certificate arrives, it contains a public key, which functions as a one-way encryption device. The browser then uses this key to scramble your personal data (Credit Card Information) before sending it over the Internet. Information encrypted with the public key cannot be decrypted without the corresponding private key, which only the merchant has. Without this exclusive, private key, your personal information cannot be read.
